The LG BD550 cannot be connected to Ethernet and it is an entry level bluray player. It is very similar to other bluray players that have been produced in the year 2010 but is lacks Wi-Fi features. The LG BD550 is priced at $150 and it is similar to the BD570 bluray player, but it lacks the essential Wi-Fi functionality and it is not DLNA compatible either. It costs only $100 less than other modern bluray players that have all the modern technology.
