Micron's P200 Real SSD: Super fast drives
As we move deeper into the zest to produce the best solid state drive technology, Micron Technology which is one of the leading semiconductor givers in the world, come out with a news about them producing SSD’s which will have a read speed of 250 MBPS. Now that’s a gasping wow! which means it is twice the speed of Samsung drive which was released last month. Its speed was only 90 MBPS.
The new Drive, Micron P200 Real SSD drive would have a single level cell technology for corporate market and other C200 drives with multiple level cell technology for other regular uses like Home PC. C200 SSD would be coming in 2.5 inch size up to 256 GB size, while the P200 would be in 2.5 inch form with 128 GB size. These drives will function and work at about 0.3 to 2.5 watt and would be SATA compatible. They would have an amazing 250 MBPS read speed with about 100 MBPS write speed.
As always with Micron products, this too says that it is a high power efficient SSD. This way power consumption is also positive in it. These drives would be available in the market by the end of December.
