For the music lovers, there is a music release from Sandisk. Well that puzzles you right?
But i am not wrong when i say that. Well to be more clear, Sandisk has come out with a Micro SD card which has preloaded Music on it and is called “the slot Music”.
These Micro SD cards would have a least storage of 1 GB and would be playing Music at 320 kilobytes per second. With artists free content from across the globe, each SD card would have it stored when you buy it.
Big Music companies like Sony BMG, EMI Music and Warner Music group are the present publishers of Music on these cards.
Videos can also be present preloaded, depending upon the artist and their choice of giving. There is a little space left in each Micro SD card for any other file to be stores. There is no clear list of Music or albums that would be available on these cards.
This is sure going to be a hit amongst the Music Lovers who can buy these SD cards rather than DVDs. There is no information of price as yet and it would hit market within few months.
i am still puzzled about this one. why is it called “the slot music”? what does “artist-free content” mean? i am curious to know if i will actually see this in stores….
i certainly trust sandisc (i use them exclusively in my camera and audio recorder) but this seems very, very strange indeed.
