Looks like we have another expensive laptop from Sony. The Sony VAIO TT series sports a nice carbon fibre construction, has WWAN technology, and as if the carbon fiber construction isn’t enough to drive up its price, it’s also the world’s lightest and smallest Blu-ray notebook.
Now I don’t know why Sony felt the need to add a Blu-ray drive on something which only has an 11.4 inch screen but I guess those who can afford it can use it as a portable Blu-ray player and connect it to their HDTV.
Features of the Sony VAIO VGN-TT11WN/B: Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo Processor SU9300, OS: Genuine Windows Vista Business with Service Pack 1, Memory: 4096MB (2x2048MB), HDD: 160GB, Others: VAIO Everywair WWAN (7.2Mbps HSDPA/2Mbps HSUPA), WLAN 802.11a/b/g/Draft-N, Motion Eye webcam, Screen: 11.1” X-black LCD with LED technology, Real Wide 16:9 WXGA (1366 x 768) resolution, Optical: DVD+-RW/+-R DL/RAM, Graphics: Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD
Although the features are good enough, but it ain’t like the Sony Vaio thing. We don’t think this model would be bought by many.
That’s my dream, i’m saving money for it right now.
When I get it?? It’s dream?
Very interesting. I surprise if one have known such a thing before this article has appeared. But I would not say this easy to come with, because nowadays each human has his own opinion but there is no a strict social views. I wonder this would have good consequences.
Nothing to dream about…
The specs look great. Personally, if it were to come around the 14″ screen, it would have been absolutely my kind of a laptop. Nevertheless, the notebook is just on of the best that i have seen lately.
Why such good specs for such a small screen?
Generally you need good spec/good perfs to work and launch heavy application… But who is going to work on a 11″ screen? Personnally I don’t need a core 2 duo with 4gb of ram and a 160gb hard drive to chat on msn and check my mails…
Sony vaio is the best, i have one
I think that Sony should have really re-thought the screen. As it is though, this one is out of my price range.
